Lonely Planet lists best beaches to visit in Ireland
The travel guide book publisher Lonely Planet described Ireland’s coastline as “a beachgoer’s paradise” and listed the country’s best beaches to visit.
The top ten best Irish beaches include two in Donegal, Mayo, and Kerry, as well as one in Sligo, Galway, Waterford, and Dublin.
Ballymastocker Bay in Co Donegal, which was voted the second most beautiful beach in the world by Observer newspaper readers, and Keem Bay in Co Mayo, the popular horseshoe bay with golden sand located at Achill Island, are among the top beaches.
