PM Modi Reigns Supreme: World’s Most Popular Leader with 76% Approval Rating!
Prime Minister Narendra Modi maintains his position as the world’s most highly approved global leader, with an impressive 76 percent approval rating, according to a recent survey conducted by Morning Consult, a US-based consultancy firm. The ‘Global Leader Approval Rating Tracker’ reveals that a significant 76 percent of respondents express approval of PM Narendra Modi’s leadership, while 18 percent hold a contrary view, and six percent refrained from expressing an opinion.
Modi’s leadership has garnered widespread acclaim, particularly for the successful hosting of the G20 Summit in New Delhi earlier this month. Following closely behind, Switzerland’s President Alain Berset secures the second spot with a commendable 64 percent approval rating, while Mexico’s Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador earns a respectable 61 percent approval rating.
Union home minister Amit Shah also shared the rating on X (formally Twitter).

In previous assessments, Modi consistently claimed the top spot in the rankings.
US President Joe Biden garnered a 40 percent approval rating, while Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau secured 37 percent approval. UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak received a rating of 27 percent, and France’s President Emmanuel Macron trailed with just 24 percent approval.
Morning Consult clarified that these latest approval ratings were collected between September 6 and 12. The ratings are derived from a seven-day moving average of adult residents in each respective country, with sample sizes varying. In the United States, the average sample size amounts to approximately 45,000 respondents, whereas in other countries, sample sizes range from approximately 500 to 5,000 participants.
