Special ‘Blue Moon’ can be seen on Halloween day

After long 40 years, a full moon will be visible in Ireland on this Halloween. The ‘Blue Moon’ is appearing for the first time since 40 years and that’s what make it so special.

It was on 31 October, 1974, such a phenomenon occurred last time. This will be known as the ‘Blue Moon’, because it is the second full moon of the month.

The Astronomy Ireland says that there won’t be another full moon on a Halloween day for the next 20 years and this phenomenon will only happen in 2039.

The ‘Blue Moon’ will be visible from 3pm tomorrow.
