The Indian U17 men’s squad defeated Atletico U17 4-1
On Wednesday, India’s U17 men’s team defeated Atletico Madrid’s U17 team 4-1 in a friendly match in Madrid.
In the first half, India scored three goals, with Korou, Lalpekhlua, and Shashwat scoring. It headed into halftime with a 3-1 lead.
Gogocha subsequently scored a fourth goal in the 89th minute to end an impressive day for the Indian squad. Gabriel scored Atletico’s only goal in the 38th minute.
India is playing a friendly tournament in Madrid to prepare for the upcoming AFC U-17 Asian Cup in Thailand.
