These will be the Restrictions during Lockdown period

NPHET will be asking the government to go for a nation wide lockdown, since the Covid cases are getting higher day by day. Even though, the officials are not having a clear plan for lockdown, the chances for a lockdown is also very high.

If NPHET’s recommendation is approved by the cabinet, the country will go back to a complete lockdown.

What are the restrictions?

No public and private gatherings

At level five, only ten people will attend funerals and six at weddings. All other types of indoor and outdoor combinations are also prohibited.

At the same time, a bubble system will be set up for those who are socially isolated and suffering from depression.

Once the full lockdown is in place, sports will no longer be allowed. You will be allowed to travel within five kilometers of the house for exercise. But people are not allowed to go out unnecessarily.

Hospitality Sector

Pubs, bars, restaurants and cafes will be completely closed. These places only have takeaway counters.

Transportation

There will be public transport for essential workers but only 25 per cent of people will be allowed in the vehicle. Unnecessary travel will not be allowed.

Businesses and Shops

Non-essential retail stores will have to close completely in the event of a complete lockdown. This also applies to gyms. However, retail stores and essential services selling essential goods will not be banned.

Hairdressers and salons will also close; cultural venues such as museums, galleries and theaters.
