There will be 784 layoffs at Twitter’s headquarters in San Francisco, as well as 199 layoffs in San Jose and Los Angeles. Twitter employees in Dublin have been notified of layoffs. However, the government has stated that it has yet to receive notification of the mass layoffs.
Advertising revenue declined.
Twitter’s ad revenue has plummeted as a result of the layoffs. Advertising revenue was down by $4 million per day. Elon Musk has blamed the decline in advertising revenue on civil rights activists.
