India Level Series with Historic Win Over England at The Oval

India secured a thrilling six-run victory over England in the final Test at The Oval, levelling the 2025 series 2-2 and sharing the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy. The win marks India’s narrowest-ever Test victory by runs.

Mohammed Siraj led the bowling attack with a five-wicket haul, including three crucial dismissals on the final day, while Prasidh Krishna added four wickets during a key Day 4 comeback. England, chasing 374, were bowled out for 367, with Chris Woakes bravely batting with a dislocated shoulder.

Shubman Gill, who captained India, was the standout performer of the series, scoring a record-breaking 754 runs—the highest ever in an India-England Test series. The series itself set multiple records, including over 7,000 total runs, nine batters surpassing 400 runs, and the most century partnerships in a Test series this century.
