Chelsea Clinch FIFA Club World Cup with Stunning 3-0 Win Over PSG

Chelsea FC delivered a commanding performance to defeat Paris Saint-Germain 3-0 in the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 final at MetLife Stadium, stunning the Champions League winners in front of a crowd of 81,118, including U.S. President Donald Trump.

PSG, aiming to cap a historic season that included domestic titles and their first-ever Champions League crown, were overwhelmed by Chelsea’s early intensity. All three of Chelsea’s shots on target in the first half found the net, while goalkeeper Robert Sánchez denied PSG crucial chances, preserving the clean sheet.

Post-match tensions flared when PSG coach Luis Enrique appeared to strike Chelsea’s João Pedro, and Nuno Mendes confronted players before order was restored.

Trump, who presented several player awards, was booed during the trophy ceremony and delayed Chelsea’s celebration before being ushered away by FIFA president Gianni Infantino.

Despite concerns over tournament attendance, FIFA reported 2.5 million total spectators and $2.1 billion in revenue.
