Italy has the highest Covid death tolls in Europe

Italy closes the year 2020 by recording another 462 coronavirus deaths. These new numbers were added to the list on the last day of the unfortunate year.

With this the pandemic death toll to 74,621, the highest in Europe.

Even though the restrictive methods and precautions are still in place, the country’s daily death toll remains high.

While looking into the recent positive cases, there have been a slight dip of 5% from the previous day, which brought the numbers to 22,211. These were the numbers that went positive while administering 15% fewer tests. The Heath Ministry had released recent statistics regarding this.

By targeting the care home residents and medical professionals, Italy had started vaccine campaign.
