Euro-Rupee exchange rate hits all-time high

DUBLIN: The Indian rupee’s depreciation continues, with the rupee’s value against the euro today at 90.72.

The Indian rupee today touched an all-time high against the euro. The exchange rate had touched 90.46 in December. Later, on March 26, the exchange rate reached 85.44. Experts say the euro has been steadily rising since then and will continue to rise.

The Indian rupee is said to have depreciated due to the COVID-19 pandemic and volatility in the market. The value of Indian rupee is expected to fall to 95 euros against the euro this month.
