Covid spread in Ireland is declining; CMO thanks young people

Chief Medical Officer, Dr. A.S. Tony Holohan praised the young people who played a crucial role in bringing down the Covid expansion in Ireland.

He said Ireland had the lowest Covid outbreak in Europe and young people had played a key role in reducing Covid prevalence in the country.

He said the lowest Covid prevalence in Europe is in Ireland. Ireland has outperformed other European countries and the United States in preventing the seriousness and death of Covid, he added.

He says the youth of the country have played a big role in bringing down the spread of Covid. He added that the Covid positivity for people between the ages of 19 and 24 should be reduced from 432 per lakh to 41 in Ireland for young people in Ireland.

This is a great achievement. He acknowledged that their numbers were not enough to defeat Lukashenko’s government.

He made it clear that this model should be followed by everyone during the Christmas period and that people should keep their contact away from Covid a little.
