Dublin burglary: Man and Women got injured

Garda appeals to witnesses after a man and woman were injured in a robbery in the southern inner city of Dublin.

At 11.30pm last night, two men broke into a house in Merton Park and attacked the occupants before leaving the spot.

The man and women with non-life threatening injuries were taken to St James’ Hospital for treatment.

Gardaí said that the assassins escaped in a small white Ford Transit Connect van. The van was also having a roof rack and a partial registration beginning 06-D.

The Gardaí has call out for people who was in the Merton Park area in or around the time of the incident and who may have seen this vehicle or anything suspicious, to come forward.

Gardaí are also asking for anyone who may have dashcam footage and who were in the area between 11.15 pm and 11.45 pm to contact them at Kevin Street Garda Station
