Funeral services of Marina Varghese, who died in Kilrush, Co Clare, will be held today

Kilrush (County Clare): Marina Varghese, (45), wife of PJ Varghese (Sunil), a native of North Paravur in Kilrush, has died.

Marina, who had been undergoing treatment for cancer for the past three years, died Tuesday evening at Limerick Hospital.

Marina, well known to the Malayali community (Keralites) in the Limerick area, was working as a nurse at the Kilrush Community Nursing Home.

The Keralites of Limerick were saddened to hear the news of the death of Marina, who, despite being ill, interacted with everyone with a happy smile.

Marina, a member of the Aluva Chengamanad Poickattussery North family, had been working in Ireland for many years.

She has three children: Jeffin, Jenita and Jeremiah.

Marina’s body was brought to her home in Kilrush yesterday (Wednesday) at 3 p.m. The funeral service will begin today (Thursday) at 11 a.m. at the church in Kilrush.
