Warning notice for 4 unauthorised loan offering firms

A warning notices has been published by the Central Bank of Ireland against four unauthorised firms offering loans to people.

Ireland Loans, Loan Society, Liteway Loans and Yes Loans Ireland are the four firms that got a warning from the Central Bank.

An unauthorised Investment Firm/Investment Business Firm ‘Barons VC’, also received a warning notice by the Central Bank.

An unauthorised firm, providing financial services in Ireland without the Central Bank authorisation is a criminal offence.

 People should be aware that if they deal with a firm that is not authorised, they are not eligible for compensation from the Investor Compensation Scheme.
