Orange Alert in Cork and Yellow Alert in 12 counties
Cork: Status orange rain warning for County Cork today and tomorrow. The orange warning comes into force at 6 p.m. today and ends at 6 p.m. on Friday.
A special status yellow rain warning has also been issued for 12 other counties. The alert will come into force at 6 p.m. today for all counties in Munster, Carlow, Dublin, Kildare, Kilkenny, Port Laoise, Offaly, and Wicklow. It will end at 6 p.m. on Friday. Heavy rainfall is expected across the region.
Tomorrow will be mostly dry, although rain will arrive on the south coast in the afternoon and spread northward, the Met Office said.
