The Scholarship Programme for Diaspora Children for academic session 2022-23

In the academic year 2006-2007, the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, introduced the “Scholarship Programme for Diaspora Children” (SPDC) for the children of Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), and Non Resident Indians (NRIs), to assist them in pursuing Undergraduate courses in Indian Universities/Institutes and promote India as a centre of higher studies.

Financial assistance for under graduation in India is offered under the SPDC for selected Professional and Non-Professional programmes (excluding Medical and associated degrees), as stated in Appendix-A, for tuition, entrance fee, and post-admission expenses.
