Ups and Downs in Europ’s EV Market

The Frankfurt auto show witnessed a number of new ‘Electric Vehicles’. The automobile manufacturers gathered for the expo clearly conveyed the message that these cars won’t solve climate issues alone.

The PSA Group CEO Carlos Tavares mentioned that none can criticize the automobile industry because they have made available zero-emission models that suits the customers need.

The manufacturers used the platform to tell the people that they should make use of the new technology now that the products are available next to their doors. As the world is now trying to reduce the emission of Carbon, Electronic Vehicles will be the future of mobility.

Some factors that keep the consumers from buying an EV is that most of the wagons are highly priced, the manufactures failed many times to make quality products at an affordable rate.

Secondly the sketchy charging infrastructure makes the costumers to think that ‘EV is not a good choice now.’ The limited battery range never allows one to drive peacefully unless there are enough resources on the way to recharge the batteries.

As global manufacturers like Porsche, Tesla, Opel, Volkswagen, etc. now focuses more on the upcoming technology, people expect many more advancement in the area of EV.

Along with Volkswagen ID3, Opel’s Corsa-e and Porsche Taycan also made their  public debut at the show. Volkswagen ID3 is the first in a family of affordable, mass-market electric vehicles,

Once the manufacturers are able to gain the confidence of the customers, then the market will flourish in a short span.
