March could be Ireland’s coldest month on record, according to the Met

DUBLIN: March could be Ireland’s coldest month on record, Met warns.

According to the Met Office, sudden stratospheric warming in Ireland will result in highly unpredictable weather conditions in the coming weeks. Not only will the cold weather typically end in February, but the snow will also last into March this year.

With the phenomenon called the Beast from the East, snow and rain will come together, and life will be difficult. The cold weather that began in December is still continuing in Ireland with no sign of sign of change. Despite a few days of bright sunshine, the nighttime chill persisted.

Meteorologists are predicting widespread snow in Ireland as early as next week, and they are saying the exact day. According to their weather chart, heavy snowfall is expected in the south-eastern part of the country on March 7.

On Wednesday, the 8th, more snow will spread over central parts of the country. On March 11, counties including Dublin will see heavy snowfall.

The Met Office provides similar forecasts.
