Universal Children’s Day – November 20, 2022

Investing in our children is an investment in our future, which is why the United Nations designates November 20 as “Universal Children’s Day.”

The United Nations’ Universal Children’s Day, established in 1954, is observed on November 20 each year to promote international unity and awareness among children worldwide.

Universal Children’s Day is more than simply a day to celebrate children for who they are; it is also a day to raise awareness of children all over the world who have endured violence in the form of abuse, exploitation, and discrimination. In certain nations, children are utilised as labourers, living on the streets, and suffering from distinctions such as religion, minority status, or disability. Currently, over 153 million children between the ages of 5 and 14 are compelled to work.

Universal Children’s Day is an international day for children that strives to raise awareness about the issues that children face and how to enhance their well-being.

Wishing all the children “Happy Children’s Day”!
