Ireland’s Weather Takes an Early Turn Towards Autumn

Dublin: Ireland has entered autumnal weather conditions earlier than usual, with August being the coldest month in a decade. This shift has led both the general public and meteorologists to believe that summer has ended prematurely. It was reported that there wasn’t a single clear day throughout June, July, and August across the country. Despite August typically being the warmest month in Ireland, this year has been an exception.

However, the weather is expected to improve in the coming days. Currently, yellow rain alerts have been issued for Clare, Kerry, Cork, Galway, Leitrim, Sligo, and Mayo. While there are no weather warnings for the Dublin area, overcast skies persist. Forecasts indicate a warm spell ahead, with temperatures expected to rise above 20°C across much of Ireland this weekend and potentially reaching 23°C in some areas by next week. The weekend, including Sunday, is predicted to be mostly dry, although there is a possibility of rain in the western and northwestern regions.
