Dublin: Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow rain warning for six Atlantic coastal counties, including Donegal, Cork, Kerry, Galway, Leitrim, and Mayo. The warning will be in effect from 3 p.m. today until 10 a.m. tomorrow, with heavy and persistent rain expected to impact the west coast.
The forecast indicates a risk of localised flooding and challenging driving conditions due to the saturated ground. Both Met Éireann and gardaí have advised caution, urging the public to plan their journeys carefully, slow down, and stay aware of changing conditions on the roads.
