Winter! The Health Minister’s Request not to Forget the Mask

Dublin: Health Minister Stephen Donnelly is concerned that people are avoiding safety precautions such as masks in public places. People are avoiding wearing masks on public transportation. The minister stated that the lack of security is very alarming as winter approaches.

The minister emphasised the importance of wearing masks in medical centers, crowded indoor areas, and on public transportation. The minister, however, stated that the government has no plans to make masks mandatory. We are still in the stage of COVID, so we must all be cautious to do everything correctly. In the absence of general guidelines, a campaign will be organised to sensitise people in this regard and ensure that safety is not compromised. The minister also stated that signs indicating the need to wear masks will be installed on buses, trains, and other public transportation vehicles.

Minister Donnelly stated that the HSE’s winter plan was created to take into account the possibility of COVID, flu, RSV, and other respiratory diseases.
